Lloyd Pete Moore

Lloyd “Pete” Moore was born May 4, 1950 in Enid, OK, to Emery Lloyd and Margie Francis (Robinson) Moore.  Pete passed away on Friday May 21, 2021 In Geary, OK, at the age of 71.  He attended Jackson, Hillsdale and Perkins Schools and later attended Okmulgee Vo-tech where he became a diesel mechanic.  Pete drove an 18-wheeler cross country for many years. He later owned and operated a sawmill.  Pete enjoyed making jewelry and performing in gun fights.  He attended The First United Methodist Church in Geary.

Pete is survived by 8 children: Kenny Joe Moore and wife Angel of Greenfield, OK, Louie Wheeler and wife Starla of Mineral Wells, TX, Jeanie Buckley and her husband Richard of Enid, OK, Glannetta Plascencia and husband Polo of Springdale, ARK, Glen Garret and Zachary Noah of Geary, OK, Karen Carrillo and husband Matt of Springdale, ARK, Kelly Boone of El Reno, OK, and Kristy Miller and Husband Mat of Geary, OK. Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; 3 siblings, Barbara Chartier and husband Don of Enid, OK, Tommie Joe Moore of Watonga, OK, And Hope Perkins and husband Johnny of Noble, OK. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; Emery and Margie Moore, wife, Janet Moore, siblings; George Edwin Moore, Mary Frances Estep Norton, Gwendolyn Faye Moore, and Connie Jo Moore-Melvin.  

Services; 10 AM, Monday May 24, 2021, First United Methodist Church, Geary, OK.
