Linda Sue Sharry was born on September 13, 1944 in Carnegie, OK to Alfred J. and Melba Ray (Skinner) Schmidt. Linda passed away on October 5, 2021 in Corn, OK at the age of 77. She graduated from Carnegie High School in 1962. She lived in OKC for a time and attended beauty school. Linda married Danny Lee Sharry on October 5, 1962 in Carnegie, OK. The couple made their home in Eakly. She worked for Wanda’s Beauty Shop in Eakly, worked on the farm alongside Danny, worked for Gale’s Beauty Shop, owned and operated Tone & Tan with Becky Moore, she also operated the Deck Boat Steak House with Becky in early 90's, worked as a guard at the Hinton Great Plains Correctional Facility, and worked at Agri-Friends until retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eakly and a member of the Eakly Bowling Team. Linda enjoyed going to auctions and collecting depression glass.
Survivors Include: her children, Monty Sharry and wife Sharla of Eakly, OK, and Marty Sharry and wife Paula of Hinton, OK, her grandchildren, Layton Sharry and wife Kelsey, Sierra Sharry, Jackson Sharry, and Turner Sharry and wife Stormi, her great grandchildren, Taos Smith, Crosslyn Gracia, and Crosby Sharry, her sister, Brenda Moore of Carnegie, OK, and her sister in law, Phyllis Schmidt, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Melba Schmidt, her husband, Danny Sharry, her granddaughter, McKyna Sharry Gracia, and her brother, Darrell Schmidt
