Linda Jo (Jackson) Caldwell Obituary

Linda Jo Caldwell was born April 10, 1948, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Ray and Hazel (Baker) Jackson. She passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She grew up in Geary and graduated from Geary High School in 1966. After graduation, she moved to Bethany and went to work for Deaconess Hospital as an admissions clerk. Linda worked in admissions, surgical care unit, and later as the switchboard operator. She moved from Bethany to Yukon in 1982. Linda retired in 2012 after 46 years of service.  She was actively involved in her daughters' and grandchildren’s lives, attending all their activities. Linda loved big and was faithful to show up for all the people that she cared for. She was saved while attending the Geary First Baptist Church as a young teen and attended the Geary Free Methodist Church on into adulthood. 


Linda Jo is survived by two daughters, Jamie Gilmore and husband Jason of Yukon and Traci Toho and husband Josh of Hinton, grandchildren Libby Gilmore, Lawton Gilmore, Charlee House, Langdon House, Brooks House, Jackson House, Addison Toho, Letty Toho and Zeplyn Toho, one sister, Donna Kuhar of Weatherford and special family members, including Jr. Austin and wife Linda of Geary, Connie Sharry of Geary and Patti Austin and husband Tim of Yukon as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends. 


She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Hazel Jackson, infant son, Tyler Wayne Caldwell, brother, Dale Jackson, nephew, Robert Jackson, infant nephew, Phillip Neal Jackson and special family members Clyde and Irene Austin, Cindy Sharry, Mike Austin and Stefan Ulsaker. 


Service will be held 10AM Monday, April 7, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Geary with Rev. Tom Clifton officiating. Burial in the Geary cemetery to follow services.


Linda’s family will receive visitors at the Turner Funeral Home in Hinton from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, April 2. Viewing will be held at the Turner Funeral Home in Hinton until 9 PM that evening and from 9 AM to 9 PM Thursday, Friday & Saturday and 1 PM to 9 PM on Sunday.
