Lenora Kay (Kuykendall) Phillips

Lenora "Kay" Phillips was born March 6, 1946 to Noah Kuykendall and Margaret Armitage in Carnegie, OK.  She passed away at her home in Weatherford, OK, Monday, August 24, 2020 at the age of 74.  Kay attended and graduated from Carnegie Schools.  She lived in the Carnegie area until her dad passed away in 1978.  From there she moved to Colorado for a short time.  She met Jack Phillips while working for Modco.  The couple was married on January 2, 1980 in Norman, OK.  She3. lived in Hinton for some years and managed the Hinton Apartments.  They moved to Weatherford in 1981.  Kay enjoyed watching murder mysteries and HGTV.  She loved sewing and quilting.  She spent most of her time raising her kids and helping take care of her grandkids.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Noah Kuykendall and Margaret Armitage and sister, Wanda Rogers. 

Survivors include, husband, Jack Phillips of the home in Weatherford, OK, 3 children, Samantha Simmons of Idabel, OK, Bryan Phillips and wife Billie Ann of South Carolina, and Kathryn Dominguez and husband Steven of Weatherford, OK, 7 grandchildren, Jennifer and Aaron Simmons, Emily Vasquez, Ethan and Houston Phillips and Trinity and Lexiss Dominguez as well as numerous other family and friends. 

Services: Hinton Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 2PM Thursday, August 27, 2020, Hinton, OK

Burial: Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
