Lenora Englebretson Obituary

Lenora Ann “Dokey” Englebretson was born on April 7, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK to Robert Lester Clark and Verba Oletha Clark. She passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 65. Dokey was raised in Union City, where she lived most of her life. Dokey started her working career with C.R. Anthony’s, and then later worked at Pollock Paper Distributing and McCubbin Hosiery. She later retired from McCubbin in April of 2021. Dokey loved crocheting and fixing her house. Her overall favorite thing was to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandson. She attended Life Church in Mustang, OK. Dokey was a huge fan of her grandchildren and attended everything she could from baseball games, softball games, basketball games, band concerts, and trap shooting meets. She was a huge fan of the Thunder and loved to watch Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Dokey was loved endlessly by all her kids, grandkids, family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

 

Survivors Include: her children, Stephen Englebretson of Union City, OK, Stacy Englebretson of Union City, OK, and Jeffrey Englebretson and wife Connie of Hydro, OK, her grandchildren, Morgan Englebretson of El Reno, OK, Bailea Morrison of Yukon, OK, Lane Morrison of Mustang, OK, Caleb Englebretson of Hydro, OK, and Austin Taylor of Hydro, OK, great grandson, Paxton Ellis of El Reno, OK, her siblings, Verb Simpson and husband Cliff of Murfreesboro, TN, Teresa Stoud and husband Tony of Guthrie, OK, Marvin Clark and wife Gina of Maud, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

 

Dokey was preceded in death by her parents, Bob Clark and Oletha Kennedy.

Services: Minco Assembly of God Church, Thursday, 2:00 pm, Jan 6, 2021, Minco, OK.

Officiating: Mr. Talon Watkins
