Lena Mae Crabtree was born on October 17, 1934 at home in Canadian County, OK to Albert Leslie and Grace Irene (Daniels) Taylor. Lena Mae passed away on April 6, 2023 in Binger, OK at the age of 88. She started at Highland Country School and graduated from Hinton High School. She went to Oklahoma City and worked at a drug store. She married Dennie Crabtree and had a family. Over the years, Lena Mae worked at Sickles Schools as a cook, ran Kimberly’s Restaurant in Binger, sold Avon, and worked at Crossroads until retiring to the farm. Lena Mae enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, her cats, and her plants. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Hinton, OK.
Survivors Include: her children, Sonny Gathers and wife Shirley of Hinton, OK, Sheila Break and husband Randy of Cyril, OK, and Donna Thomas of Lakewood, CO, her grandchildren, Cody Parker and wife Stacy of Littlerock, AR, Macy Parker of El Reno, OK, Jyme Denise Thomas of Littleton, Co, Erin Rachele Wildrix and husband Beau of Lakewood, CO, Ashley Paul Thomas of Canton, OH, Cory William Gathers and wife Melissa of Hinton, OK, Hannah Cait Gathers of Hinton, OK, Jesakah Gathers of Binger, OK, 10 great grandchildren, her sisters, Carolyn Dietzman of Hinton, OK, and Billie Garrison of El Reno, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lena Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Grace Taylor, her husband Dennie Crabtree, and her son, Randy Gathers.
