Kristi Ward was born May 18, 1981, in Okarche, Oklahoma to Steven Allen Ward and Rita Annette  (Brack) Ward. She passed away April 17, 2025, in El Reno Oklahoma at the age of 43. Kristi grew up in Geary and graduated from Geary High School in 1999. She worked in nursing homes as a nurse’s aide and for a time at Broadway Café, and at Maib’s Texaco. For years, she loved supporting Kendell and the Geary wrestling team and more recently she loved watching Tiara play basketball.  Kristi also loved reading books with Kenneth. She always seemed to be the lucky one when she was out enjoying her other hobbies.  She loved visiting and hanging out with her friends, Jerry, Natalie,

Jo Ann, Karen and Jami. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kristi has survived by three children, Kendell Johnson , Tiara Johnson and Kenneth Johnson all of Geary, her mom Rita Ward of Geary, two brothers, Adam Ward and Robazena of Geary and Jeremy Ward of Geary, 7 nieces and nephews, Christopher Ward, Brooke Ward, Summer Ward, Joshua Ward, Jr Ward, all of Geary, and Bryan, Ward and wife Breigton and Jesse Ward and wife Abby all of El Reno.

Kristi was preceded in death by her father Steven Ward, and grandparents, J.T. and Lida Brack and Laveta and Billy Joe Ward and infant son Nicholas Adam.

Memorial Service will be held 10AM, Friday, April 25, 2025, First United Methodist Church in Geary, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be held at the Turner Funeral Home in Hinton from 12PM to 5 PM Monday, April 21, and 9AM to 5PM Tuesday April 22 and Wednesday, April 23.
