Kriket J. Love was born on September 7, 1950 in Akron, Ohio to Pearl Myke (McDowell) Pittman and William Kalamajka helped raise her. She passed away on November 6, 2021 in Weatherford, OK at the age of 71. Kriket graduated from Barberton High School in Barberton, OH. She married Daniel Love and they travelled with his military career to various places before settling in Elgin, OK. She moved to Lawton, Ft. Cobb, and Binger. She worked as a correctional officer in Hinton and Sayre. Kriket loved bowling, was a connoisseur of wine, and watching movies. She was a member of Swan Lake Baptist Church.
Survivors Include: her children, James Love and wife Tereasa of Ft. Cobb, OK, Sabra “Sammie” Love and her husband Brian Stotler of Hinton, OK, and Rihana York and husband Alvis (A.J.) of Ft. Cobb, OK, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her brothers, Steve Kalamajka and wife Charlotte of Binger, OK, and Gene Kalamajka and wife Deb of Akron, OH, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Kriket was preceded in death by her parents, William Kalamajka and Myke Pittman, her brother, James Kalamajka, and her best friend, Dale “Slim” Sims.
