Karroll Douglas Kitson

Karroll Douglas Kitson was born June 4, 1942, to W.J. “Cap” and Saphronia R. (Hackett) Kitson in Hammond, OK.  He passed away Friday August 20, 2021,  at Mercy Hospital in Kingfisher, OK at the age of 79.  Karroll attended Geary Schools and served in the US Navy.  He worked for Rock Island Railroad, farmed, worked with cattle, painted houses and water towers, and worked for the county as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed mowing yards, raising his dogs, restoring old cars and tractors, riding his Harley, and playing music.  Karroll enjoyed visiting churches especially the Cowboy Church and the New Life Assembly of God Churches in Geary, and the Holiness Church in Gracemont.  He was active in the church in many capacities. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cap and Fronia Kitson, son, Mark Kitson, grandson Kolson Kitson, and brother-in-law, Ralph Puckett, nephew, Jeff Mills, and niece Debbie Lewis. 

Karroll is survived by his four children, Brian Kitson and his wife Nathalie of Edmond, Steve Kitson and his wife Misty of Geary, Tim Kitson of Geary, and Christina Robertson and her husband John of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Nathan Kitson and his wife Erica of Shawnee, Duncan Kitson and his wife Kelsey of Oklahoma City, Shyla Wyrick and her husband Waylon and their children, Riley and Cash of Sharon Mutual, Shane Kitson and wife Kadie and their children Nielle and Brandon of Meade, KS, Dillon Kitson and his wife Karina and their son Brooks of Mustang, OK, Karsen Kitson of Hydro, OK, Shiloh and Sage Robertson both of Shreveport, LA, Paydon Trumbley and Yancy Elliott and their son Oliver of Greenfield, and Dalton and Carson Reyburn of Geary; siblings, Wilma Puckett of White Plains, MO, Genoa Hangar and her husband Fred of Yukon, and Martha Mills and her husband Ronnie of Hinton; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Graveside Services: Geary Cemetery, Thursday, 11:00 am, August 26., 2021, Geary, OK
