Kaiden William Hood-Statton Obituary

Kaiden William Hood-Statton was born March 24, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Kennith Wayne Statton and Hollye Annette Hood. He passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at his home in Geary, Oklahoma, at the age of 20.  Kaiden attended Head Start and kindergarten in Geary and later attended Calumet Schools before moving to Houston, Texas. He graduated from Spring Woods Senior High School in Houston. After graduation, he returned to the Geary area where he worked for Nortech, Snyder Electric, Dexter Axle, and was currently employed as an assembler at Exiss Trailer in El Reno.  Kaiden was saved and baptized at Red Rock United Methodist Church in Calumet. He enjoyed blacksmithing and had a deep fascination with history and medieval times. He loved playing video games, being outdoors, exploring, and riding four-wheelers. He also enjoyed working out at the gym, a passion he began while working out with his dad during his junior year of high school.


Survivors include his mother, Hollye Wood, and her husband, Chris, of Geary; his father, Kenny Statton, and wife, Katarina, of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Gaige and Reese Wood of Geary, and Anastasia Statton of Houston; his grandparents, Billy and Lisa Hood (Grammie and Papa) of Geary, and Nana Myrtle Statton of Calumet; his aunts and uncles, Gretchen Melvin (Aunt G) of Geary, Veilvete Hood (Nana) of Geary, Amber Peters (Auntie B) and her husband, Jonathan (Uncle Jonny), of El Reno, Jennifer Sanford (Jenny) and Conor of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Katie Carnott (Aunt KK) and her husband, Uncle Chris, of Calumet; and his cousins, Kaleb, Kacen, Isabella, Elise, Calan, Elinor, Condry, Collyn, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, “Papa Ronnie” Statton; his great-grandparents, Mom Hatton and David Hatton, Bill and Annette Hood, and Bill and Juanita Barker; and Irving Junior Statton.


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Calumet Methodist Church in Calumet, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Cemetery in El Reno, Oklahoma, services entrusted to Turner Funeral Home, Geary, Oklahoma.
