Julie Homier Obituary

Julie Lynn Homier was born on August 1, 1987, in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Allen and Sheila (Sullaway) Klein.  She went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in her home in Hinton, Oklahoma at the age of 33.  Julie attended Hinton Schools until graduation in 2006.  She attended several schools: Caddo Kiowa, Redlands, and SWOSU.  She enjoyed every job, no matter how big or small: Red Bud Grocery Store, Cantwell Dental, Entz Chemical, and Home Health.

Julie was a baptized a born-again believer.  Her Christian faith was evident throughout her life.  She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hinton.

Julie married the love of her life, Brad Homier, on June 13, 2009.  The couple lived in Crow’s Roost for a short time before making their home in Hinton.  Julie and Brad have two sons, Brayden Aaron and Braxton Allen.  They are the lights of their lives.  Both Homier boys attend Hinton Elementary.

Julie loved taking care of “her boys” (Brad, Brayden, and Braxton).  She was a “boy mom”.  She also enjoyed baking fabulous desserts and was always creating delicious meals for her family, including her parents, siblings, and their families.  Julie loved animals, especially cats.  She could tame the wildest of cats from a young age.  She enjoyed nursing people who had stitches or broken bones.  She really had fun pulling the loose teeth of her nieces, nephew, and children.

She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were hers.  They loved her like she was their second mother.

Julie was always ready to go to the high school and teach a special art class or talk on behalf of Brayden on Autism.  Her smile, witty personality, and inner beauty were treasures.

She was preceded in death by an older infant sibling, grandparents: Kenneth and Cleada Sullaway and Calvin and Irene Klein.

Survivors include: husband Brad Homier, sons Brayden and Braxton Homier of the home in Hinton, her parents Allen and Sheila Klein of Hinton, sister Sarah Harp and husband Josh of Hinton, and brother Stephen Klein and Lyndsey of Yukon.  Her in-laws Theresa Homier and Danny Homier and wife Tammie of Kingfisher, sisters-in-law Tara Marie and fiancé Chris Olson of Cashion, and Sharla Garvin and husband Scotty of Kingfisher.  Her nieces and nephews Lela, London, and Levi Harp, Kate Klein, Zavior and Alex Leniger, Hunter Miller, Dylan Carey, and Hannah Jeter.  Grandma Margie Christy of Cashion as well as many relatives and close friends.
