Joye Alice (Warwick) Myers was born on September 17, 1935, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Ralph and Anna Lee (Wilson)Warwick. She passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at the Binger Nursing Home in Binger, Oklahoma.
Joye was raised in Clovis and spent most of her life here. She attended Clovis Schools and graduated from the Amarillo College LPN Program thru Northwest Texas Hospital. She retired after 42 years of nursing, working at PRMC, with Dr. Brian Willmon, Dr. Steve Haynes and Dr. Paddy. She was also a Charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 3245 and a lifetime member of the Amvets, Post 14.
Joye loved writing letter and sending cards to family and friends. She loved history, reading newspapers and maybe you were lucky enough to receive a handmade baby blanket for your children of grandchildren.
Joye is survived by her children; Patti Cundari (Mark) of Quinlan, Texas, Terry Howell (Rachell) of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, Janna Pemberton (Bruce) of Farwell, Texas, and Roger Myers of Clovis. New Mexico, 15 Grandchildren,19 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Anna Lee Warwick and her eldest son Michael Bradley Howell.
It was Joye’s wish to be cremated and to be buried with her parents in Clovis. The family will have a graveside service at Lawn Haven Cemetery at a later date.
Burial: Lawn Haven Cemetery, Clovis, New Mexico.
