Joshua David “Josh” Dobrinski was born November 25, 1977, to Thomas Ray and LaDonna Fae (Cagle) Dobrinski in Okeene, Oklahoma. He passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 47.

Josh graduated from Weatherford High School in 1996 and attended Western Oklahoma Vo-Tech. He began custom harvesting while still in high school, traveling from Oklahoma to the Canadian border until his son was born. He later worked for John Deere in Arapaho for four years and then farmed with Bar Lazy B Farms (Shane Bond) for 13 years.

Josh enjoyed collecting small tractors and farm implements, attending gun shows, fishing with his son at Crowder Lake and Fort Cobb Lake, flying remote-control airplanes, and going to the casino with his buddies. He attended the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church in Corn, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Aedyn Dobrinski of Corn; his parents, Thomas and LaDonna Dobrinski of Colony; siblings Jeff Dobrinski and wife Tonya of Geary, Jack Dobrinski and wife Mary of Dill City, and Rebecca Carmen and husband Brandon of Weatherford; nephew Cameron Dobrinski of Mustang; nieces Jordan Dobrinski of Hydro, Mackina Dobrinski of Edmond and Megan Carmen of Weatherford; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charley and Lela Cagle and Walter and Henrietta Dobrinski.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 11th and Friday, September 12th from 9 AM – 9 PM at the Turner Funeral Home in Hinton. 

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
