Jodie Mae Coulson was born March 13,1987 in Okeene, Ok to Viola (Hood) Wanzer and Ronald Dale ( Bubby) Coulson. Jodie passed away on Dec 27th 2024 at her home in Longdale,Ok at the age of 37 surrounded by family. Jodie passed due to a long hard fought battle with cancer. She grew up in Geary and Greenfield area, living in Burns Flat for a time before moving back to Longdale to care for her mom. Jodie was a very loving and forgiving person who looked out for everyone but herself. Her children and family were what she lived for and being with them made her the happiest. She cheered them on at games and helped with schoolwork. She was passionate about experiencing Gods creation indoors and out. She enjoyed family gatherings, camping, hiking, fishing and being at the lake and also loved animals. Jodie loved reading her bible and had great faith that she relied on. She was a member of the Living Waters Assembly of God church in Burns Flat and had attended Greenfield Baptist Church as well. Throughout her journey she spread joy, made everyone laugh, and showed remarkable strength, her humor, love, and bravery will be missed.


Survivors Include: her husband, Jeremy Miller and son Jensen Miller of the home Longdale, OK, her children, Christopher Allen Ward of Geary, OK, Brooke Ward of Geary, OK, Joshua Ward of Geary, OK Summer Ward of Geary, OK, Schlyer, and Conner, her mother-in-law, Tonya Altonia Lyons of Clinton, OK, her siblings, Lanet Wanzer and Tim Barnes of Longdale, OK, Dewey Wanzer, Jr. of Cheyenne Wells, CO, David Wanzer of Hennessey, OK Lea Ann Stanley and husband Mike of Canton, OK, Trisha Sawyer and husband Brandon of Watonga, OK, Robert Wanzer and wife Robyn of Canton, OK, Michael Wanzer and wife Misi of Oakwood, OK, Ron Coulson and wife Cathy of Seiling, OK, Tera Gatrell of Hinton, Tasha Gaster and husband Jeromey of Woodward, OK, Johnny Ray Coulson of Nye, MT, and Shaleette of Enid, as well as many other relatives and friends.


Jodie was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Coulson and Viola Wanzer, Gene Wanzer Sr. who she called grandpa, her brother, Jesse Richards, her father-in-law, Jerry Miller, her niece, Makayden Johnson, and her brother-in-law, Anthony Johnson.


Memorial Services: Hinton Turner Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, 1:00 PM, January 3, 2025, Hinton, OK
