Jimmy Loren Wilhoit, born May 25, 1962, in Portales, New Mexico, to Elwin Berry ("E.B.") and Neva Faye Riley Wilhoit, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Hinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 62.

Jimmy graduated from Portales High School in 1980 and went on to attend Lubbock Christian College. On September 26, 1981, he was united in marriage to Connie Crum in Portales, New Mexico. While they have lived many places, Hinton is where they call home.

Jimmy worked in the oil and gas industry, most recently as a maintenance optimizer for Devon Energy. Known as "Mr. Fix-It," Jimmy had a gift for repairing anything. He was an avid gardener, a skilled woodworker, and took pride in his beautifully maintained yard. Jimmy also loved to sing and had a playful sense of humor, often teasing those he loved as a sign of affection. A devoted Christian, Jimmy was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Connie Wilhoit, of the home in Hinton, Oklahoma; two children, Cacey Adams and her husband Clayton of Austin, Texas, and Logan Wilhoit and his wife Katelyn of Ellsworth, Iowa; and five cherished grandchildren: Luke Adams, Scott Riley Wilhoit, Morgan Wilhoit, Charlie Adams, and Ben Adams. He also leaves behind siblings and in-laws: Glenda and Harold Cross, Danny Hinderliter, Berry and Vicky Wilhoit, Andrea Good, Sandra Allison, Sheri and Darwin Chenault, Sherrie Johnson, and Eddie and Lowree Crum; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, E.B. and Neva Wilhoit; his sister, Lou Hinderliter; his brother-in-law, Randall Allison, and nephews Will Hinderliter and Zak Allison.

Family visitation will be held at Turner Funeral Home in Hinton on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Funeral services will take place at the First Baptist Church on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with Mr. James Cudd officiating.
