Jimmy Ray Spivey was born on July 30, 1967 in Clinton, OK to Jewel Dean and Judy Irene (Renfro) Spivey.  He passed away on December 5, 2023 in Edmond, OK at the age of 56.  Jimmy grew up and graduated from Hinton High School in 1985.  Throughout life, he worked in the oilfield, for Entz Chemical, Braum's Dairy Farm and for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in El Reno.

Jimmy was a man of many hobbies and loves.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, camping, cooking, yard work, and OSU football.  He had a great love for music and playing the drums.  One of his favorite things to do was to take snacks to Debi 2nd grade class.  Jimmy loved animals and always had a dog; his best companion was a big, white Husky named Vixen.  He was never a cat person until he met Debi but grew to love them also.  Not a day went by that Jimmy didn't talk about his kids.  Jimmy was a democrat and had a servant's heart.  He served as Vice President of the Union for the prison, as Cub Master for Boy Scouts Troop 301 and on the Hinton School Board.  He was baptized and was a member of Scott Baptist Church.  Jimmy knew the Bible well and loved to sing hymns.
