Jimmie Jack Smith was born January 16, 1953 to Jack Wade and Jimmie Miller Smith in Watonga, OK. He passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home East of Geary at the age of 67. Jimmie Jack graduated from Deer Creek High School. He was united in marriage to Bridget Mansour May 25, 1974 in Talihina, OK. They lived in North Oklahoma City where Jimmie worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for five years. They moved to the Geary area where he ranched and raised cattle with his dad and grandfather. From 2000-2010 he began working at the Express Ranch as a herd manager at the Jensen location all while continuing to ranch and raise cattle. Jimmie Jack enjoyed quail hunting, loading ammunition, was an avid reader and loved horses. He was a lifetime member of the Appaloosa Horse Club, and member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Calumet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Wade Smith.
He is survived by his wife Bridget Smith of the home, Geary, OK; three sons, Dr. Jimmie Dillon Smith and his wife Amber of Geary, Oran Mansour Smith MS, MBA and his wife Kaitlin of El Reno, and Dr. Paul Simon Smith and his wife Rebecca of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Brilyn, Ty, Gunnar and Arthur; one great-granddaughter, Estella and one grandson on the way; his mother, Jimmie Miller Smith; sister, Suzy Burns and her husband David, brother, Wade Smith and his wife Tresa all of Geary; cousin, Michael Challis and his wife Beth of Oklahoma City; brother-in-law, Ron Mansour and his wife Kim of McAlester; two sisters-in-law, Linda McKinley and her husband Tim and Renee Bailey and her husband Mike all of Talihina; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
