Jimmie Harold Brogden was born on August 9, 1934 East of Hinton, OK to Eli Sr. and Mayme Jewell (Hill) Brogden. Jimmie passed away on June 26, 2023 at his home in Hinton, OK at the age of 88. He attended East Walnut Schools and graduated from Hinton High School. He moved to the Mustang area and farmed. He married Patricia Ruth Netherton. Jimmie worked as a realtor, car salesman, worked receiving at the stockyards in Cow Town, then moved back to farm east of Hinton in 1988. Jimmie enjoyed raising tomatoes, karaoke, traveling (Jamaica and Hawaii) dancing, being with his grandkids and great grandkids, and loved his cows. He had a band in high school, Jimmie Brogden & The Rhythm Masters. He attended Yukon Methodist Church. Jimmie was a God-fearing man; he was saved at Lookeba New Covenant Church.

Survivors Include: his sons, Kent Brogden of Hinton, OK and Greg Brogden and wife Donna of Hinton, OK, his 11 grandchildren, his 16 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Mayme Brogden, his siblings, Radford, Eli,Jr. William (Bill) Brogden, and Bernice Johnson, and daughter-in-law, Terri Brogden
