Obituary

Jean C. Stuart was born on March 19, 1935 in Watonga, OK to Charley H. and Alta L. (Blankenship) Dahl. She passed away at her home on January 9, 2022 in Anadarko, OK at the age of 86. Jean graduated from Lookeba Schools. She went to work at the hospital and met Thomas Lock “T.L.” Stuart. They were married on January 17, 1955 in Seymour, TX. They lived in Anadarko and Jean worked for Dr. Corbin as a nurse for 25 years. She later worked at home doing anything that needed to be done, from mowing to taking care of the sheep, taking care of her flower beds, and vegetable gardening. Jean was a massive salt & pepper shaker collector, liked jigsaw puzzles, word search, solitaire, and loved the slot machines. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko, OK.

 

 

Survivors Include: her children, Tommy L. Stuart of Anadarko, OK, and Darla J. Stuart of Anadarko, OK, her granddaughter, Kyli Barker and husband Lee of Anadarko, OK, her great grandchildren, Khloe and Mason Barker, her sister, Delores (Teedum) Vincent of Blanchard, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Alta Dahl, her husband, T.L. Stuart, and siblings, June Chronister and Carl Dahl.
