Jason Lynn Reding Obituary
Jason Lynn Reding was born on September 25, 1967, to Sherry Carel and William Peter Reding. He passed into the arms of the Lord on March 16, 2026, in Binger, Oklahoma. Jason attended Geary Public Schools where he developed a passion for wrestling at a very young age, even beginning in preschool. He excelled in the sport, earning numerous gold medals and trophies throughout his life, including two state championship titles. In 1986, Jason was named to the prestigious Oklahoma all state wrestling team. His dedication and talent led him to continue wrestling at the collegiate level, receiving scholarships to Labette Community College in Parsons, Kansas, and Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee Illinois. Jason later returned home, where he started a life with Angela Baird of Watonga. Together they were blessed with the birth of their son, Lane William Reding.
Jason had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing his guitar, especially with his band, and son Lane. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and had a strong appreciation for guitars, guns, and knives. He was known for his loyal heart and the deep bonds he shared with those close to him.
He is survived by his son, Lane William Reding; his sister, his mother, Sherry Carel, Gina Littlefield and husband Jerod; his nephews, Nate Littlefield and Trent Littlefield; his uncle, Don Bomhoff and wife Carol; and extended family including Tara and Judah Bomhoff, Cindy and Steve Hanes, Traci, Tyson, and Hayli Hanes, and Baron Crocker, aunt Sue Reding, and cousin, Shelly Scott and Shannon.
Jason is also remembered by his lifelong best friend, Jeff Biswell, whose friendship and devotion went far beyond words.
He will be deeply missed by many loving family members, including the Bomhoff, Brack, Reding, and Peck families, who stood faithfully beside him during his final days.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, William Peter Reding; his grandparents, Wilda Fern Good and L.W. Good, and Albert and Mary Reding; and his uncle, Glenn Reding.
Jason faced life the same way he approached the mat—with toughness, heart, and determination.
