Janice Maude “Jan” Elliott was born on April 3, 1945,  in  Lookeba, Oklahoma, to Alfred Edward and Mary (Von Allman) Warren. She passed away on January 15, 2026, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Jan grew up playing with her brothers and sisters on the family farm near Lookeba and graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School. She was first married to Charles Vincent, and to this union a daughter, Tonda Coane Vincent, was born on November 21, 1962. Jan was a hardworking woman throughout her life. She worked at the McDonnell Douglas airplane plant in Tulsa as a “Rosie the Riveter” during her early years. She later became a barber, working for many years at Corky’s Barbershop in the Oklahoma City metro area. Jan and Glenn C. Elliott Jr., were united in marriage on September 28, 1979, in Watonga, Oklahoma. Glenn and Jan lived in Binger, where Jan operated Jan’s Barber Shop, and eventually moved the shop to their home.  The couple shared a love for adventure and travel, going on long motorcycle trips across the country. Jan especially enjoyed riding in Glenn’s truck with her beloved dog, Fancy, as her sidekick. She was always ready for the next outing. In her spare time, Jan enjoyed working with stained glass, wiring old lamps, and restoring antiques. She loved hunting for good bargains with her friend Diane and sharing meals and laughter with her sister-in-law and dear friend, Elaine. Jan will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, sense of humor, hardworking nature, and warm heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Bobbie Jackson; her many nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Warren; her husband, Glenn C. Elliott Jr.; her infant daughter, Tonda Coane Vincent; and her siblings, Geneva Stevens, Lorene Wilson, Lloyd Warren, Edward Warren, Jim Warren, Larry Warren, and Lonnie Warren.

Graveside services will be held at Murray Cemetery on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Binger, Oklahoma. Reverend Mark Price will officiate.
