Janet Lynne Royal was born on April 18, 1960, to Fred and Norma Cary. She passed away on June 20, 2024 in Binger, OK. She graduated from Hollis High School in 1978 and earned an Associate’s Degree in medical coding from City College in 2003. Janet married Steve Royal on August 20, 1982, in Hollis, OK, and they made their home in Hydro, OK.  She worked at 3M\Imation for 15 years, then worked for Williams-Sonoma in the call center until she retired in 2018.  During her time at Williams-Sonoma, Janet enjoyed taking orders from and talking to many celebrities. Janet enjoyed Thunder basketball, OSU Cowboys, anything to do with her grandkids and family, and Facebook.  Janet did not know a stranger and only saw the best in people. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hydro, OK

Survivors include her children, Nicholas Royal and wife Anne of Hinton, OK, Josh Royal and wife Hanah of Hinton, OK, her grandchildren, Isaiah, A.J., Connor, Alivia, Gabby, and Asher Royal (plus one on the way), her sisters, Robin Ward and husband Tommy of Hollis, OK, Sheila Jones and husband Davey of Elgin, OK, Paula Cleaton of Liberal, KS, Carla Wikoff and husband Dan of Manhattan, KS, Cindy Hochhalter of Berrien Springs, MI, and Merrill Ahrens and husband Loren of Altus, OK, and her Mother-in-law Rita Royal, as well as many nieces, nephews, numerous relatives, and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband Steve Royal, parents, Fred and Carol Cary, and Norma and Don Stegall, father-in-law, John Royal, brothers-in-law Brian Lierle and Richard Royal.
