Jackie LaRue (Smith) Harman

Jackie LaRue Harman was born June 27, 1953, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Phillip and Roberta Smith. Jackie passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on October 7, 2023, at the age of 70. Jackie graduated from Binger High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. She was an Army brat while her father was in the service living all over; Germany, North Dakota, and Alabama to name a few. She was a great supporter of all her grandchildren and their sports and activities. Jackie enjoyed going to the casino and playing, especially when she hit the jackpot. She also liked to talk about winning and sharing those winnings with her kids and grandkids. Jackie loved Pepsi, Hershey’s kisses, and really loved playing slots on her phone. Jackie loved her coworkers at Lucky Star and loved her family above all else. Jackie will be missed by all those who loved her.

Survivors Include: her children, Jeni Harman of Hinton, OK, Brandi Wardwell and husband Mike of Hinton, and Robyn Ray and husband Ian of Mustang, OK, her grandchildren, Brandon Wardwell and wife RaeLynn, Bailey Wardwell, Andrea Wardwell, Mia Wardwell, Alexandra Overton and husband James, Allyssa Gomez, Daimian Gomez, Abbigael Ray, and Eli Ray, her great granddaughter, Kierra Wardwell, her siblings, Morey Smith of OKC, OK, Danny Smith of OKC,OK, Rhonda Gregg of Binger, her aunt, Verna Castillo of Binger, her uncle, Matt Whitebead of Anadarko, OK, her cousin, Michael Whitebead of OKC,OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Roberta Smith, her grandparents, Rhoda and Reuben Whitebead, her brother, Brian Beam, her uncle, Pete Whitebead, and her aunt, Trisha Roulain.

Celebration of Life:  Saturday, 2:00 PM, October 21, 2023 at the Caddo Tribal Complex, Binger, OK.
