Jack Swinney

Jack Swinney was born on December 29, 1929 in Chickasha, Ok to Claude B. and Sarah Lucinda (Taylor) Swinney. He passed away on July 12, 2021 in Watonga, OK at the age of 91. He graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1948. He married Peggy Ann Mowdy in Chickasha, OK in 1960. Jack and Peggy moved to Watonga in 1965 to make that their permanent home. He worked 7 days a week to support his family for many years. Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include: his children, Cindy Lou Mitchell and husband Theron of Watonga, OK, Cheryl Ann Biggs of Watonga, OK, and Brenda Rolan of Paoli, OK, his grandchildren, Brandon Rolan and wife Amy, Tristen Swinney, Kayla Swinney, and Raschell Swinney, his great grandchildren, Jayden Mitchell, Ja’Briel Jones, Ja”Khole Mitchell, Aubrianna Moore, Jeremy Moore, Memoree Eatmon, Chance Mitchell, Hayzlyn Gonzalez, Josh Rolan, and Tyler Rolan, as well as many other relatives and friends.  

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Sarah Swinney, his wife, Peggy Swinney, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 sons, Tony and Steve Swinney, and 1 grandson, John S. Rolan, Jr.

Memorial Services: Watonga First Baptist Church, Friday, 10:30 AM, July 16, 2021, Watonga, OK
