Greg Paul Dunn

Greg Dunn was born March 2, 1955 in Watonga, OK to Johnnie Keith & Lou Anna (Awtrey) Dunn.  He passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 68.  Greg graduated from Watonga High School where he lettered in football, track, & rodeo.  After high school, he completed a Bachelor of Science at SWOSU in Weatherford, while also working in the oilfields & farming.  Throughout the following years Greg spent his time between racing thoroughbreds, selling feed, farming his land, & keeping company with his mother Lou Anna, companion Janie, & his many fellow horsemen.  He loved keeping up with his grandchildren & all their activities.  Greg was a man of faith & was a member of First Baptist Church in Grapevine, TX.   

 Greg is survived by his mother Lou Anna Dunn of Oklahoma City, OK, life partner Janie Dunn of Grapevine, TX, & brother Tim Dunn & wife Jacki of Pawnee, OK.  Other survivors include 3 children Shawn Gallardo & fiance Rob Bullock of Garden City, KS, Cole Dunn & wife Katie of Liberty, MO, & Casey Dunn & wife Lindsay of Flower Mound, TX; 6 grandchildren Gage Gallardo, Cade Dunn, Gracie Dunn, Riley Dunn, Annaleigh Dunn, & Avery Dunn.

 Greg was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Keith Dunn.
