Gary Don Haskell was born on July 16, 1950 in OKC, OK to Joe Elmer and Anna Mae (Howe) Haskell. He passed away on February 17, 2021 in OKC, OK at the age of 70. Gary attended Binger Schools. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and was part of a crew that manned an M1 Patton Tank. He moved to Gracemont, where he worked on road construction. Gary worked for Gabriel Ride Control as a chrome room operator for 20 years. He later worked as a bookkeeper for Gunter Peanut Company. He loved watching wrestling, tractor pulls, monster trucks, liked to visit, and most of all playing with the grandkids. Gary coached his kids in baseball. He played with Johnny Bench in Binger and some of his kids still play to this day.
Survivors include: his children, Amber and her husband Brian and their children, Cassie, Lizzy, and Sami; Glenn D. Haskell and wife Christina A. and their children, Lucas S. Meridth, Bishop A. Meridth, Mylenn E. Haskell, Gavynn D. Haskell, and Lois A. Haskell; Jeffrey A. Haskell and his children, Xzaveor L. McKenzie, Tyra McKenzie, Mackenzee S. Stonebraker, Taybree L. Haskell, and; LaCriesha M. Haskell; and Joshua C. Haskell, 1 great grandchild, Jeziah L. McKenzie, his brother Dallas Haskell of Chickasha, OK, his nieces and nephews, Joe Haskell, Craig Haskell and wife LaDonna, Dale Haskell and wife Jayne, Heath Haskell, Jared Haskell and niece Jandi, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Anna Haskell, and 2 brothers, Billie Joe Haskell and Rex Haskell.
