Gail Cherie Foreman Obituary

Gail Cherie Foreman was born on September 8, 1957 in Lafayette, LA to Leroy and Myrna (Berard)

Foreman. Cherie passed away on January 9, 2024 in Binger, OK at the age of 66. Cherie grew up in

Lafayette, Louisiana and graduated from Acadiana High School.

Cherie had an uncanny ability to make friends wherever she went, and would light up a room with her

sense of humor and contagious smile. The simplest pleasures in life brought Cherie great joy. She

loved snuggling up with a soft, cozy blanket and watching a good movie. She cultivated a passion for

reading and could get lost in a good book for hours on end. She loved to joke, laugh, shop, stay up

late, drink coffee all day, and was one of the most amazing cooks. She found such beauty and

enjoyment in tending to plants and flowers and always being a helpful hand in the garden as a young

mother. Cherie’s pride was in her children and grandchildren. She was the most beautiful mom,

grandma, sister, friend and daughter and one of the most resilient people on the planet. She loved

her people hard. If she loved you, she made sure you knew it. She was the oldest of 5 siblings and

had 3 of her own children, and 9 grandchildren. She loved to care for her children and spoil her

grandkids. The way she loved with her whole heart will be the legacy that her children remember

most. In her latest adventure, she rediscovered her love for life and Jesus, never looking back.

Cherie is survived by her children, Olivia Koch and husband Andy of Cincinnati, OH, Aimee Arp and

husband Ryan of Ooltewah, TN, and Martin Mayeux and wife Kristi of Cleveland, OH, her mother,

Myrna Berard and husband Danny of Lafayette, LA, her grandchildren, Caroline Koch, Sylvie Koch,

Oliver Koch, Hudson Arp, June Arp, Maddie Arp, Monroe Mayeux, Wyatt Mayeux, and Ruby Mayeux,
