Emma Rodriguez (Rodriguez) Hatton Obituary

Emma Rodriguez Hatton was born September 21, 1946 to Pablo and Cecilia (Rios) Rodriguez.  She passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 77.  Emma was married to David Hatton February 24, 1959 in Ft. Sumpter, NM.  She worked as a nurse at Parkview Hospital until she retired and lived in Geary all of her life until moving to Garber in 2012.  She enjoyed embroidery and making blankets for Christmas for all 72 grandkids.  We will treasure our mom’s love and blankets every time we use her blankets. 


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons, one sister, one brother, and one son in law.


Emma is survived by six girls and two boys, Jenny Jameson and husband David of Geary, Kathy Espinoza and husband Paul of Geary, Christine Moore and husband Larry of Calumet, Rosa Taylor of Mustang, Lisa Hood and husband Billy of Geary, Gregg of Texas, and David Hatton Jr of El Reno, Emma Holman (Sis) and Slade of Garber;  31 grandkids; 38 great grandkids; and 3 great-great grandkids; one brother, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 


Service: First Christian Church, Wednesday, 11:00 am, November 29, 2023, Geary, OK


Officiating: Rev. Dick Kurtz
