Earl Eugene Underwood was born May 20th, 1945 to Cleo and Vera (Kammerzell) Underwood in Watonga, Ok. He passed away Friday, November 25th, 2022 at his home in Greenfield, OK at the age of 77.  Earl graduated high school from Greenfield High School in 1963, after which he joined the Army National Guard. He married Barbara Hood on November 1st, 1974 in Watonga, Ok. Earl worked many jobs including The Phillips Station, as a farm hand, Watonga Hospital, Roman Nose State Park in the maintenance department, and then finally at the Blaine County Dist. 1 for 30 years. He retired from there in 2010. Earl enjoyed his flower beds, collecting everything, and most of all spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Watonga, Ok.

 

Survivors include his wife Barbara Underwood of the home in Greenfield, OK; children Liana Underwood and Anthony Gossman of Oklahoma City, OK, Jamie Brewer and Kori of Chickasha, OK, grandchildren Bailey Underwood of Oklahoma City, OK, Jakob Warkentin of Choctaw, OK, Jakson Warkentin of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kayli Brewer of Chickasha, OK, one brother Marvie Underwood and Chris of Greenfield, OK, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

 

Earl was preceded in death by his parents: Cleo and Vera Underwood.
