Donnie Murrow was born on July 28, 1951, to Milford, Sr., and Delta Smith-Parton Murrow in Lawton, Oklahoma. He passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Binger Nursing Home in Binger, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.  Donnie graduated from Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, California, and attended community college. Throughout his life, Donnie lived in Los Angeles, Saint Petersburg, Florida, and various locations in Oklahoma.  Known as the “Indian Forrest Gump,” Donnie was cherished for his vivid storytelling and his remarkable life experiences. While living in California, he worked as a driver for entertainers, which allowed him to attend social events, award ceremonies, and even participate in several movies. Donnie was also a semi-professional bowler, playing on a team called the “Bon Jovi Boys.”  He loved traveling, cheering for the LA Dodgers and the Los Angeles Lakers, and sharing his passion for life with those around him. Donnie will be remembered for his extraordinary life, his love of adventure, and his ability to light up every room with his stories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Heidi Murrow of the home in Anadarko; his children: Donavan Liebelt of Westminster, California, Cameron Tonemah of Anadarko, Bailey Gray of Fletcher, and Ayden Tee of Anadarko; two nieces, and grandson, Donovan Liebelt, Jr.
