Donald "Ducky" Ray Reding

Donald “Ducky” Reding was born on December 10, 1940 in Geary, OK to Henry C. and Pearl D. (Nuzum) Reding. Ducky passed away on November 15, 2023 in El Reno, OK at the age of 82. He graduated from Geary High School in 1959 started plumbing in 1966, working for Boyd Nelson, then branched off on his own in 1979. He owned and operated Reding Plumbing and Heating until he retired in 2021. He also served on the Geary Fire Department, retiring in 1987. Ducky enjoyed crocheting, woodworking, hunting, and fishing.

Ducky is survived by his children, Anthony “Tony” Reding of Geary, OK, Diana Bryan and husband Rick of Geary, OK and Debra Perez of Geary, OK, his grandchildren, Brandi Williams and husband Eddie of Piedmont, OK, Toni Anderson and husband Aaron of Del City, OK, Breanna Perez of Geary, OK, Brittney Kayea of OKC,OK, Keiarra Martinez and husband Michael of Calumet, OK, and Erick Bryan and wife Sara of Frederick, OK, his great grandchildren, Mackenzy Williams, Kacee Reding, Brody Williams, Hayden Anderson, Noah Binswanger, Aaden Tayler, and Jesse Kayea, his brother, Charles Reding of Ardmore, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Ducky was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Pearl Reding, his daughter in law, Paula Reding, and his sister in law, Helen Reding.  

Services: Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Monday, 10:30 AM, November 20, 2023, Calumet, OK

Officiating: Rev. Cory Stanley
