Donald Leroy Phillips was born on October 28, 1966 in Watonga, OK to Eli Lester and Grace Lee (Black) Phillips. Donald passed away on March 19, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 56. Donald grew up in Greenfield, living briefly in Alabama and California, but always came home to Greenfield. He worked at various jobs including as a fry cook at the Hi-De-Ho Café in Watonga. He was a spiritual man who believed in God and he liked to combine that with his love of nature. He was at his happiest walking along the river and being outdoors. Donald enjoyed life, never met a stranger, liked to visit with people, and loved his dogs. He also enjoyed building all sorts of contraptions, fixing various things, camping, and just being out in the country. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
Survivors Include: his mother, Grace Phillips Wallace of Greenfield, OK, his brothers, Luther Phillips of Bessemer, AL, Doyle Phillips of Watonga, OK, his twin brother, Daniel Phillips of Wichita, KS, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Lester Phillips, his grandparents, Charlie and Bell Phillips, and Frosty and Myrtle Black, as well as many aunts and uncles.
