Delores Jean Houston of Geary went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 20, 2024. Delores was born to John and Leaun (McCommas) Campbell on Jan 17, 1944 at Grandma Trainers house in Camargo, Ok.
Delores attended Gage High School and Graduated in 1962 She later attended nursing school in Woodward receiving her LPN License and proudly serving 50 years before retiring from Mercy Watonga OK. She married Billy Ray Houston on Aug 14, 1971 in Woodward. In 1974 they moved to the family farm west of Geary. Nonie as many know her by had many hobbies and activities reading, knitting, playing games, but her favorite past time was her Grandkids, anything and everything they did or do. She is a member of The First Christian Church of Geary serving for many years as Secretary. Delores went by many different names Nonie, Aunt Favorite, Dopey, Aunt Los, Dr Delores and Mama.
Delores is survived by daughter Shelly Houston, stepson Billy Houston Jr and Tammy of Geary. Grandchildren Houston and Garth McSperitt, Audra Pratt, Prescott Houston all of Geary. Great grandchildren, Colt, Parker, Ruby, Nash, Rory, Josie, Hesston, Jett, Lyncoln, Riggins, Radley. Her siblings Cissie Nunez and Octavio of Shattuck, OK and Barbara Diercks of Geary. As well as her Special Nieces, Nephews, Close friends and Relatives
She is preceded in death by husband Billy Ray, grandson Pacer McSperitt, parents John Campbell, Leaun and step-dad Jimmy Crowder, sisters Janet Pierce and Dorothy Arthaud, brother Terry Crowder
