David Luetkemeyer Obituary

David G. Luetkemeyer was born on December 16, 1957 in Okeene, OK to Clarence and Agnes (Farhar) Luetkemeyer.  He passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in Watonga, OK at the age of 65.  David always enjoyed farming with his father and brother, Duane.  He graduated from Watonga High School before graduating from OSU Okmulgee as a plumbing journeyman.  David worked as a journeyman in Enid  for Dense Mechanical and later as a lineman for the City of Watonga, He worked for USG, Wheeler Brother's and worked as a Measurement Tech for Enable Midstream.  He also served as a volunteer fireman for the Watonga Fire Department.  David enjoyed taking care of his hummingbirds, working on worm casting for his garden and making homemade rosaries.  He loved watching OU football and any sports or activities that his grandchildren were involved with.  He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church in Weatherford, OK as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include, his wife, Carma (Collier) Luetkemeyer of Fay, OK; his children, Chris Luetkemeyer and wife Alissa of Thomas, OK, Sarah Janzen and husband Andrew of Fay, OK, Michael Luetkemeyer and wife Dayla of Omega, OK and Patrick Luetkemeyer and girlfriend Jessie Martin of Claremore, OK; 12 grandchildren, Kyler Janzen, Collier Luetkemeyer, Kyra Bliss, Kirstan Bliss, Pearl Luetkemeyer, Noah Luetkemeyer, Layton Janzen, Alivia Luetkemeyer, Stella Luetkemeyer, Ryker Luetkemeyer, Mary Luetkemeyer and Maggie Luetkemeyer.  Survivors also include his siblings, Regina King and husband Roger of Weatherford, OK, Duane Luetkemeyer and wife Cheryl of Tuttle, OK, Elaine Burnett and husband Randy of Moore, OK and Anna Tate and husband Bob of Seiling, OK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Agnes Luetkemeyer, infant brother Clarence John Luetkemeyer, brother Terry Luetkemeyer, sister Dolores King and sister Gloria Luetkemeyer.

Rosary:  7:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Eugene Catholic Church (704 N. Bryan), Weatherford, OK.

Funeral Mass:  10:00 AM, Friday, September 29, 2023 at St. Eugene Catholic Church, Weatherford, OK

Officiating: Rev. Danny Grover and Deacon Mike Buchanan
