David VanAlstine Obituary

David Kenneth VanAlstine was born August 21, 1965, in Big Rapids, MI to Kenneth Edward and Mary Francis (Estermyer) VanAlstine.  He passed away, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at his home in Bridgeport, OK, at the age of 56.  David moved to Hinton in 1981.  He graduated from Hinton High School.  After graduation David went to work at Chenoweth Muffler.  He later worked for the North Caddo Coop for a number of years.  David married  Hallie Rath  and the couple spent 39 years together.  He enjoyed woodworking, mechanicing building toy boxes, rocking horses, and rocking chairs, dune buggies and building snow sculptures.  David was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years.  David loved his service dog, Aiaha.   

 

David was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth VanAlstine and Mary Estermyer VanAlstine.

 

Survivors include, wife Hallie Andes of the home, 3 children, Steven Andes of Arnett, OK, Chris Andes and wife Brandi of Colony, OK, and Ed Andes of Thomas, OK, 9 grandchildren, RyLee Andes, Ellee Andes, Wyatt Andes, Kaydence Andes, Hadley Andes, Braxton Keesee, Brooklyn Keesee, Alyna Barcindebar, and Amer Barcindebar.  And sister Lisa Estermyer of Big Rapids, MI as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

  

Services: 11AM, Thursday, September 23, 2021, First Baptist Church, Hinton, OK
