David Hinojosa Rodriguez was born April 5, 1972, in San Antonio, Texas, to Antonio Villarreal Rodriguez and Hortencia Hinojosa Rodriguez he passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 52. Much of David’s childhood was spent in the Lookeba, OK area, and he attended Lookeba Schools. David also spent most of his time helping his family with the family business, which included peanuts, watermelon, hay, and he loved cutting wood with his family. David also liked to pursue different things in life. He worked for 2 years on building and landscaping golf courses. He enjoyed working alongside his brothers at Garrison Oilfield and Farm. He met Kerri Sullivan in 1997, and they were married on August 15, 2009.  They lived in Anadarko, and he was a member of the Mormon Church there. David loved to travel and see new things.  He visited Yellowstone Park, Arizona, Utah and San Antonio, just to mention a few.  David loved most of all spending time with family and friends. He had such compassion and love for everyone.  No matter how David felt physically, he always made time to make people smile.  He brought so much laughter and love into his family, and he made a memorable impression on everyone he met.    

David is survived by his siblings: Sammy Rodriguez and wife Rhonda of Hinton, OK, Juan Rodriguez of Hinton, OK, Jesse Rodriguez and wife, Dawn of Hinton, OK, Luis Rodriguez and wife Tracy of Hinton, OK, and Ruby Orozco and husband Luis of Hinton, OK, he is also survived by his best friend Kerri Sullivan and her family. A couple of them he considered his own grandchildren, Mason Moran, Alex Morgan, and their siblings as well as Elijah Mares, Joziah Rodriguez of New Mexico. David is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and a host of friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Antonio and Hortencia Rodriguez and siblings, Michelle Vargas and Daniel Rodriguez.
