David Earl Blackshire Obituary

David Earl Blackshire was born on August 5, 1947 in Mt. View, OK to William and Mary Jane (Brence) Blackshire. David passed away in El Reno, OK on December 9, 2022 at the age of 75. He graduated from Mt. View High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War in the 82nd Airborne. He was a helicopter and tank mechanic and a courier for the Army. David had various jobs through the years: Drag Car Mechanic and participant, Woodworker, Cabinet Maker, Tree Trimmer, Security Guard for Claude Hall Gun Shows, Bounty Hunter, and Model for Tener's in OKC He lived for a time in Belize, loved the outdoors, animals, and gardening (tropical plants, bonsai, and veggies). David was an artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. He loved guitars and guitar music: his tastes varied from Country to Rock. He will be missed by all of his friends who loved and cared for him: The Travis and Dina Wills family, Brad Van-Order, The Jesse and Jessica Lane-Sexton Family, Sandra Knox, John Knox, Tim Campbell.



He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Jane Blackshire.
