Danny Clover Driskell was born on June 11, 1950 in Ava, MO to James Lewis Jackson and Ida Alice (King) Driskell. He passed away on May 5, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 69. Dan graduated from high school in Yakima, WA. He served during the Vietnam War for the US Army. He met Kay Driskell while he was working as a truck driver and she was working as a waitress; they married on July 23, 1980 in Hinton, OK. Dan loved to work on old cars. In his younger years, he really enjoyed gathering cattle on horseback. He farmed and ran cattle for Jim and Shirlene Murphy for 28 years. In later years, he loved sitting on the front porch and watching hummingbirds. He could not wait each spring for Kay’s irises to bloom so that he could bring them to town to share with all his lady friends here. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved feeding the dogs donut sticks. You could ask anyone about Dan, and he had probably helped them in some way.
