Christopher Todd Gray was born on November 28, 1965, in Anadarko, OK, the youngest son of Jarius “Jerry” and Geneva (Fisher) Gray. He entered the Kingdom of Heaven on July 19, 2023, running to the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ.
In January, 1982, while attending Lookeba-Sickles High School, Todd met the love of his life, Tawnja Stephenson, and knew immediately he would someday marry her. Tawnja wasn't so sure, but after two years of molding him, she finally agreed to be his bride on June 2, 1984, in Binger, OK.
The small town of Binger was not big enough for the newlyweds, so they moved to Hydro where they helped out on Todd's dad's farm and attended SWOSU in Weatherford.
After a few career and location changes including Clinton, Weatherford & Binger, Todd, Tawnja & their three children landed in Mustang, OK, when Todd became Director of Development for Feed the Children in OKC. He oversaw a large staff and a region that covered five states.
In his free time which he always managed to have, Todd would be found building or remodeling something for his kids. He absolutely loved being "Poppa" to his six grandkids. He served as Community Pastor for Forward Church in West OKC, in which he was a founding member. His church family was an extension of his own and he would be found laughing, crying, and praying with them. A handshake was never enough, as he usually went in for a bear hug.
Todd became involved in Rob's Path to Miracles Ministry, which serves men recovering from substance abuse. Todd would mentor, pray, or just listen to these men on their road to recovery.
Todd loved and was passionate about Jesus and people. He took every opportunity to tell people about Jesus, and vice-versa. He told his family often that the first order of business once he was promoted to Heaven was to find all those he led in the "Sinners Prayer."
Todd is survived by his wife Tawnja of the home; his children Christopher “Jantzen” & wife Nicole of Yukon, OK; Jacoby & wife Amy of Yukon, OK; and JaKenzee Nuzum & husband Dillon of OKC.
