Christopher Steven Moore Obituary

Christopher Steven Moore was born on April 15, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Chester W. Moore and Mary Sue (Waid) Moore. He passed away at his home in Gracemont, Oklahoma, on June 15, 2025, at the age of 62. Christopher spent his life in Noble, Oklahoma, where he was known for his big heart, sharp wit, and a love for all things fast and loud. He had a deep passion for music—always played loud—and for race cars and hot rods, having owned at least 100 over the years. He loved trading cars with friends and could fix just about anything, always eager to lend a hand to those he cared about. Christopher’s greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren—teaching them, laughing with them, and simply being present in their lives. He had a special way of making each child feel seen and valued. His sense of humor, kindness, and strong sense of fairness made him a champion for the underdog, and a beloved friend to many. Christopher will be remembered for his boundless generosity, his love of life, and his fierce devotion to the people he loved. He was truly a rolling stone who left a lasting mark on everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, Sharla Moore of the home in Gracemont, Oklahoma; his children, Shayla Adams and husband Marvin of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Tyson Bryant and his significant other Kristina Wright of Gracemont, Oklahoma; his five grandchildren, Joseph, Kenneth, Timberlan, Marvionna, and Makalynn; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Jakari. He is also survived by his sister, Valarie Alcorn and husband Richard of Noble, Oklahoma; his brother, Kevin Moore of Noble, Oklahoma; and his sister-in-law, Tisha Edge of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Christopher leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Mary Sue Moore.
