Charlette Pennington Obituary

Charlette Rose North Pennington was born on November 6, 1943 in Colony, OK to James and Gladys Viola (Baker) North. She passed away on March 1, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 77. She attended Geary Schools. Charlette married Roscoe Pennington on September 11, 1963 in Oklahoma City, OK. They lived in OKC, California, Corpus Christie, TX, and have lived in El Reno since 1987. Charlette enjoyed puppies, DIY network, loved the Indian Way of Life, Elvis Presley, and her grandchildren.

 

Survivors include: two children, Ronnie Pennington of El Reno, OK and his children Jared Pennington and Andrew Pennington, Alan Pennington and wife Carissa of Plano, TX and their children Tristan and Brayden Pennington, her brother, James H. North of El Reno, OK, her nephews, Phillip North, David North, Bobby North, Zachary North, James North, Kendall James North, Jacop Henry North, and nieces, Salisa Rose Ann North and Glenda Raye Hobbs, and all of her nieces and nephews from Roscoe’s side of the family, as well as many other relatives and friends.  

 

She preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys North, her husband, Roscoe Pennington, two daughters, Lisa Pennington and Cheryl Genzer, brother, Robert “Bob” North, and half sister, Raye Ella Hughes.

 

 

Services:  First Baptist Church, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, March 3, 2021, Geary, OK

Officiating: Rev. Waylon Upchego

Burial:   North Family Cemetery, Geary, OK
