Charles Vincent Schuhsler was born on October 18, 1943 in Houston, TX to Arthur James Schuhsler, Jr. and Virginia Louise (Smith) Schuhsler and passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home in Hinton, Oklahoma at the age of 82. 

Charlie worked as an accountant and later became co-owner of TelCam Communications in Texas.  Through his work, he became known as a loyal and hardworking asset and made many lifelong friendships during this time.  He, along with his co-workers and friends, would enjoy Sunday afternoon lunches, often staying well beyond their meal to share a laugh and fun conversation.  Charlie was always a fan of good food and good music.

Charlie met and married the love of his life, Tiphany Gilliand and they made their home in Texas before relocating briefly to Farmington, NM and finally to Hinton, OK to be closer to friends.  Over the past 12+ years, Charlie and Tiphany continued to enjoy outings with friends, collecting coins and various memorabilia and spending time with their kids/dogs, Casey and Gussi.

He is survived by his many friends, including Raymond E. Carbin, Jr. of Hinton, OK and JR “Big Brother” of Arkansas.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Schuhsler; wife, Tiphany Gilliand (2021); and dogs, Casey (2021) and Gussi (2022).

Charlie requested a private ceremony be held laying he, Tiphany, Casey and Gussi to rest together in a serene location in Caddo County.
