Charles Henry Graves

Charles Henry Graves was born May 20, 1942 in Muskogee, OK.  He graduated from Roosevelt High School and then he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  After his time in service he worked for Allied Telephone Co. in Roosevelt, OK.  In 1974 he started his dairy in Cement, OK.  Henry ran the dairy until 1981.  Henry married Deloris Reynolds on October 27, 2008 in Wheeler, TX.  He went to work as a owner/operator truck driver until 2013.  He farmed during these years as well.  He was a hard worker until his accident in 2013.  Henry loved restoring old cars, loved driving his truck and tractor, and loved his cows.  He loved telling stories, loved his country and enjoyed RVing. He was a member of the Colony Church of Christ.

Henry is survived by his wife Deloris of the home near Hydro, OK, 2 children, Brenda Ortiz and Edwin of Lawton, OK, and Deano Wright and Rae of Hydro, OK, 3 grandchildren, Laramie Clark and Matt of Weatherford, OK, Laney Wright of Stillwater, OK and Christopher Durham of Broken Arrow, OK, and 5 great-grandchildren, Mia, Ella, and Tatum and Lux and Wonder Clark as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Vera Graves, daughter, Vicki Jane Graves, siblings, Johnny Sparks, Ray Sparks, Delores Shrum, Wanda Pigg and Amelia Ausmus, nephews, Gary Don Pigg, Mark Turner, and Brian Sparks.

Burial: Eakly Cemetery, Eakly, OK
