Charlene (Huggins) Wright

Charlene Wright was born December 5, 1943 to Buster O. and Minnie Mae (Hutchins) Huggins in Muldrow, OK.  She passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 77.  Charlene graduated from Geary High School in 1962.  She was united in marriage to Donald R. “Donnie” Wright June 2, 1962 in Geary, and he preceded her in death April 12, 2018.  They lived in El Reno and later moved back to the Geary area.  Charlene worked at Maple Schools beginning in August of 2016. She enjoyed shopping, watching her grandkids and great grandkids in their sporting events, and re-arranging her living room.  Charlene was a member of PEO, enjoyed playing Bunko, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Geary.

Charlene is survived by, one daughter, Shelly Wigington of El Reno, OK; two granddaughters, Tatum Harrall and her husband Cecil, and Taryn Wigington and Sidney Pratt all of Geary; great grandchildren, Andrew, Elliott, Kyle, Hollis, Karver, Langston, Bentlee, and Taylan; one sister, Bertia Johnson of Huntsville, AL; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Minnie Huggins, husband, Donnie Wright, grandson, Seth Wigington, and sister, Betty Garvin.
