Cecelia Willis Obituary

Cecelia Judith “Judy” Willis was born on June 13, 1944 in Lawton, OK to Augustine Barcindebar. At the age of 74, she was embraced by the arms of her Savior on April 20, 2019 in Watonga, OK. Judy attended schooling up until the 8th grade between Concho, Chilocco and Watonga schools. Her education was cut short through her sacrifice of raising children, which she found joy and honor in and continued to do so throughout her life, helping raise many others. She lived in the Watonga area most of her life and enjoyed simple “country” living. Judy was a determined woman who didn’t make excuses, was no stranger to hardwork and walked in humility. She worked at a variety of places including: Hollytex, End O’MAIN, Southard, Watonga State Bank, at the Cherokee, Subway, Sonic, Braums, and as a caretaker. She enjoyed being with family, cold pop, sewing and as everyone who knows her knows.... playing Bingo. She was a member of the Mercy Hospital Auxillary and a member of Modesta Baptist Church in Geary, OK. She loved her family, exemplified a lifestyle of servant-leadership through her unconditional and relentless love.

She was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Jenkins, mother Augustine Barcindebar, and many siblings and friends.

Survivors Include: her children, Kenneth Willis of Geary, OK , Nolan Willis of Geary, OK, Ladina Willis of Watonga, OK, Mike Barcindebar of Watonga, OK, Reggie Barcindebar of Seminole, OK, and Charlie Howlingwater (taken as her son Native Way), 22 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, her brother, Mike Figuoria of Lawton, OK, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
