Cecelia Faye Reckard was born June 15, 1937, in Binger, OK to Edgar and Cecile Emma Hines.  She attended Hinton High School in the Class of 1955.  She married Eldon “Ray” Reckard on August 1, 1954, in Hinton, OK.  The couple made their home in Hinton where they raised three daughters: Lani, Audra, and Ronda.  Cecelia was very active as a homeroom mom for each of the girls’ classes every year.  She and Ray also served as class parents for each of the girls’ graduating classes.  She was a talented seamstress and was always making clothing for their girls.  Cecelia loved to read and loved holding babies.  She was an incredible cook.  She was a member of the Hinton Cosmos Club and the Rook Club.  Cecelia taught Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Hinton and served as the Sunday School Secretary there for many years.       

Survivors include two daughters, Audra Hale and her husband Bill of Comanche, OK, and Ronda Hill and her husband Jim of Perkins, OK, 5 grandchildren, Darolyn Ladd of Eagles Pass, TX, Chisholm Hale and his wife Jayla and their children, Bentlee and Asher of Comanche, OK, Matt Hill and his wife Rachelle and their children, Hudson, Emerson, and Elliot of Mustang, OK, Colton Hill and his wife Jesseca and their daughter Rylee of Perkins, OK and Ty Hill and his wife Kristen of Perkins, OK, one sister-in-law, Darla Wynn of Amarillo, TX as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Reckard, daughter, Lani Rae Reckard Snow, both of their parents, Edgar and Cecile Hines and Wesley and Elsie Reckard, one infant grandson, and eight siblings, Gladys Cox, Ivan Hines, Geraldine “Gerry” Hamilton, Wayne Hines, Leo “Blackie” Hines, Roy “Chick” Hines, Eileen Archibald, and Irene Welty.
