Cathie Lynne (Little) Choate

Cathie Lynne Choate was born on November 21, 1947, in Geary, OK to William Evan, Sr. and Dorothy Grainger (Shumate) Little. She passed away on December 21, 2021, at her home in Yukon, OK at the age of 74. Cathie graduated from Geary High School. She married Wayne Edward Choate on September 15, 1964. They lived in Edmond and moved to Calumet to raise their family. After the kids graduated, they moved to OKC and settled in Yukon to be close to their kids and raise their grandson, Casey. Cathie worked in the banking industry as a banking consultant and auditor. She taught several classes as new banking laws were introduced. Cathie and Wayne spent several years spending time with extended family, nieces, nephews, and cousins while Wayne was in the military. She enjoyed dominoes with the girls from church and was a member of Town and Country Christian Church in Yukon.

Survivors Include: her children, James Choate and his wife Brenda of Yukon, Sean Choate and his wife Malina of Mustang, Gregory Choate and his wife Stacie of Midwest City, and Casey Choate and fiancé Tierra of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Evan, Wyatt, and Kolby Choate, and Zy Moore and Austin Moore; 1 great grandchild, Lilith, the first and only girl in the family, siblings, Fern Moore of Calumet and Jack Little of Albuquerque, NM; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Cathie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Little, her husband, Wayne Choate, her siblings, Ruth Blair, Wilma Jean Gardiner, Bill and Herb Little, and Mildred Sanders.
