Carol Ann Gudgel was born October 10, 1954, in Anadarko, OK to Ishel Delmer and Loretta Maxine (Huckabay) Sears. She passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Moore, OK, at the age of 67. Carol grew up in the Sickles area. Carol taught in the Moore Public School system for 33 years. She spent her career devoted to the literacy of children. She loved spending time with her two granddaughters. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and was always reading.
Carol is survived by her son, Randell Gudgel and his wife Miranda of Moore, OK, 2 granddaughters, Danika and Juniper Gudgel, 3 siblings, Bruce Sears and wife Kathy of Yukon, OK, Pam Misak and husband Doug of Colony, OK, and Janet Harris and husband John of Mancos, CO as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ishel and Loretta Sears, grandparents, Ishel Cecil Sears and Dola Green King Sears and LLoyd and Abbey (Bailey) Huckabay.
