Bruce Dean Pond was born on March 3, 1967 in Oklahoma City, OK to Ronald Lee and Joyce Jenenelle (Powers) Pond. Bruce passed away on March 20, 2025 in Seminole, OK at the age of 58. He grew up in Oney, OK on the family farm. He enjoyed fishing with his children and his grandchildren. He was a truck driver for many years and really loved doing that. Bruce loved his morning coffee, and his favorite candy was Reese’s Cups, often stealing everyone else’s with no regrets. He loved his little dog, Gizmo, who was like a child to him. Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.


Survivors Include, his children, Derrick Pond and wife Ashley of Calumet, OK, Heaven Pond and companion Ethan Harper of Binger, OK, Darren Pond of Binger, OK, William Pond of Binger, OK, David Pond of Binger, OK, and Josh Franks Pond and companion Maya of OKC,OK, 9 grandchildren, Keely, Hailey, Kameron, Kendel, Bryson, Ephraim, Uriah, Elijah, Jayde,   plus one grandchild on the way, and 2 extra grandchildren, Genesis and Brenya, his brother, Michael Pond and wife Cindy  and family of Siloam Springs, AR, his uncle, Lynn Tilley of Blanchard, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.


Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Joyce Pond, his brother, Rodney Pond, and his aunt, Rita Lister.


Bruce’s Family will hold private family services at a later date.


Services are under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, OK.
