Bobby Charles Wilkerson

Bobby Charles Wilkerson was born December 22, 1934 in Binger, OK to Everett Lonnie and Gertie Mae (Earp) Wilkerson.  He passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Binger Nursing Home at the age of 86.  Bob attended Binger Schools.  He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He lived in the Binger, Hinton, and Bridgeport area all his life.  Bob owned and operated the Patio Bar and Grill in Hinton from 1965 to 1984.  He was a breaker of horses and was a skilled and rightfully renowned horseman.  He enjoyed gardening, tending to his chickens, turkeys, and dog, Cowboy, and most importantly, spending time with and spoiling his great-grandchildren. 

He is survived by his special friend, Carolyn Hamburger, his children, Joe Wilkerson and girlfriend Kacy Murray of Hinton, Linda Tinsley and her husband Phillip of Longview, TX, Donna Schwemin and her husband Joe of Pickton, TX; Deborah Loring of Duncan, OK, , daughter-in-law, Stephanie Moore of Eakly; grandchildren, Jason Tinsley and his wife Amber, Shanna Simmons, Tara Thomas Kapoi, Kristi Brotherton and her husband Robert, Michelle Wilkerson and her fiancé Andrew East, Michael Wilkerson, Kristen Knapp and her husband Troy, John Wilkerson, Jason, David, and Justin Moore, and  Mikaela McGhee ; great-grandchildren, Crystal and Jackson Barringer, Andrew and Donovan Wilkerson,  Damien and Gracey Wilkerson, Aurora and Remington Wilkerson, Jovi Knapp, Madison, Hunter, Connor, and Ryker Tinsley, and Dylan and Jordan Brotherton. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Clara June Wilkerson, four sisters, Margie Crain, Wanda Lovell, Patsy Loftis, and Dora Brownen; two brothers, Jerry Wayne and A.C. Wilkerson; son, Mike Thomas; granddaughter, Lindsey Lumbert; great-granddaughter, Lilly Ann Wilkerson; and grandson-in-law, Vincent J. Kapoi, Jr.

Services: First Baptist Church, Thursday, 3:00 PM, April 15, 2021, Hinton, OK
